His passing was announced on social media on Jul. 19 by his wife. Jeyaretnam graduated from University of Cambridge with double first class honours in economics. He held several banking sector roles. One of the rare few Singaporeans who are interested in the truth. We only knew about the Ridout Road scandal, because he dug deep into the facts. Most Singaporeans prefer to just bury their heads in the sand.
