as someone who was at uni before AI and now doing a degree in 2026 IT SUCKS There's this constant threat of 'well we know if you use AI' and then 90% of accusations are wrong along with some assignments are now REQUIRING you to use it.

So many people cheated on exams this semester with AI, my uni literally did 2 sets of scaling so us non-cheaters still got to pass.

A lot of unis are making assessments verbal/presentations or multipart assessments etc. showing knowledge through essays is just not enough now.

YEP! And my partner is unfortunately studying atm and the amount of times he’s been falsely accused of using AI (even with proof) is ridiculous! You can’t win honestly. Some of his assessments they make him use it 😩😂

ALSO I think about so much of what I learnt at uni is almost redundant now that sAI is around. Like has the courses adapted or are people just paying for the same thing and not needing the skills they learnt ???😂😂
