ive got mine wed 12th august. Even though ive had a similar surgery before I'm nervous because this time round I have bulging discs in my back and the nerve pain is horrific in my left leg so I have a limp and the leg can't be moved about alot so I worry during the surgery then the pain im gonna be in with that.

How long were u on waiting list for pre op assessment and for surgery? i am on waiting list for dermoid ovarian cyst removal keyhole surgery and ive been on waiting list since April this year in 2026. im in birmingham so not sure if its different where u r

I got asked if want todo the surgery i reallt want to but i want my mum there was me because of my autism and learn difficulties i dont understand information and all ways too scared to ask questions. Im also worried they wont find anything 😭

Do they search your bowel, bladder etc during it or do you have to ask this? I definitely feel like I have it there as well as my ovary xx

id be fuming if no one could come on the ward with me , I go to lala land when people start talking to me I go to pot , someone who knows everything needs to be there 😂

I have mine next week how bad is the gas pain and I have to get to mine at 12:30 so not sure when I will actually get home I have seen a few people that get there early morning and get out late evening
