Rape should never be marketed as romance and from looking at the comments ik you are a survivor of abuse which you are a very strong person for . But across tik tok i have seen other women who have also been 🍇aped and abused who do not agree with the movie and the book . And yh people could just not watch it but this kind of movie normalises this and this is not right since over 100,000 women in the uk at least get 🍇d every single year so yes we are for real

Everyone does understand that people don’t need a movie to 🍇 people have never needed an excuse, they just do! HD Carlton wrote these to help with her own trauma, and if you look into it, her books have helped thousands of other women with their trauma. I understand this book/ movie isn’t for everyone and that’s okay.. just don’t read it or watch it. I don’t understand how this is getting more hate than the Epstein files. Blows my mind

The Only Argument They can bring is „Ur romanticing/supporting 🍇“, which WE Are def NOT. Tbh if its that Deep, people should Bann 365 days or Movies Like fifty Shades of gray as Well, but the didnt. Because You can just decide to watch that or Not. U can difference from Reality and fiction/reading. And Thats what people don’t get. Yes there Are many Books that have Movie Potencial, but H.D Carlton just did this step also, every Autor can try this to. And stop saying „but men will think Women Like that“, 1. They could thinking that with every other movie ,2. They Are grown man, blame it on them Not on the Movie. They Are ADULTS, who should know that a Movie is a Movie. And 3. As I Said, you can decide to watch/read it or not. Simple as that.
