It’s because on prime you can see shows/movies from other subscription sites because you can link them & most people don’t focus on the bottom corner of the show where it says prime, Apple, paramount etc.

You have to physically subscribe to these extra platforms or must have used the free trial at some point and you prob forgot to cancel

On Friday I got an email that I started an mgm subscription- I wasn’t even on any devices. No one has access to my account. So I changed my password and cancelled the subscription. How is this even legal?!

They have the subscription movies and shows on the main feed and if you click to watch one, it automatically signs you up to the subscription. It doesn’t ask for permission or let you know, it just signs up! Mine signs itself up all the time!

Amazon Prime 2 years ago charged me a monthly charge three times per month .. they reckon my kids opened accounts which is untrue... I argued with them and threatened ill report them then they refunded me $320

Omg!! I just did this!! I never subscribed to the others and have no idea how long I’ve been charged!! I was already pissy because I’ve always paid the top subscription for prime and now they’ve increased it for add free!!

I opted for extra subscription. only reason this happen to you and your dad. if you click those hbo etc while in prime you then accept those subscription. its not automatic
