I would suggest getting a stronger compressor, possibly higher voltage, and get a stronger alternator to supply the power required. Of course this will end up drawing more power from the engine, and would probably be more efficient to just run a dedicated belt driven AC compressor

Dude... Need some more tweaks to this test. 100 here in Houston and I'm still getting duct temps with fan on high of low 40s and much faster than a few min running like your beginning of vid. You got this. Looking forward to seeing new compressor changes

Does it put a strain on the alternator and battery. Seems like it would cause a big power draw when running at idle or stop and go traffic

Full electric fans? if factory you may need a higher cfm fan. Needs to be wired in to cycle with the AC into high and low. A look at the pressures would give an idea how it's performing as well

That is a technician and a shop owner. I would advise you add ice 32 pág oil It will drop the temperature out of your van by 5 to 10° hundred percent guarantee we use it in almost all the vehicles that we service at my shop because of how when it improves the heat dissipation out of the condenser and how will lubricate the components of the AC and is compatible with R1 34A and 1234YF

In theory the air conditioning is supposed to lower the inside temperature by 20 degrees to the outside temperature. You lowered your temperature 33 degrees from the outside temperature that’s what it’s designed to do. If you puts separate fan on the condenser it should lower your temperature more. Put a pusher fan on the condenser

Have you bothered to put a gauge set on it and measured your pressures? That’s gonna tell you almost everything you need to know. Also, do you have an electric cooling fan on your condenser.

Some of you complaining about 68° ain’t never driven with no AC I ran a tractor trailer for 3 years NY to Miami, Texas and everywhere else with just a 5” fan blowing hot air off my windshield in my face driving with no shirt in my damn underwear

My dads truck blows 60 degrees and he’s spent 3k replacing everything there is multiple times bc he can’t accept 60 which I don’t blame him it’s like warm air in this weather so 62 is not that good
