I don’t understand why there is even an argument about where she should be going. She needs to be in a mental health facility. This all makes me so sick, i feel horrible about her children, but she screamed for help, what else could she have done? The husband should be help accountable as well… and the drs who had her on all those meds and didn’t listen to her.

There is no reason she should not have been hospitalized so they could figure out her medication in a controlled environment. There is also zero reason her husband should have left her alone, much less with kids. Absolutely wild.

Believe every sentence. No where near that situation but I know unless you say you’re going to harm your child (so they can call cps) they don’t care about a mother’s mental health. Even if you say you’re homicidial they just take the kid and still don’t help the mother. Ridiculous.

She did absolutely everything she could to prevent it from happening. She knew she was a danger. She knew she was going to hurt those kids. She wanted help and no one listened to her, and now we’re supposed to blame her? It’s not her fault. Not even a little bit.

Holy shit. They failed her, which failed her kids. I’ve had insane side effects when trying antipsychotics or SSRIs so doctors just medicating her over and over would make her so much worse

She shouldn’t have been left alone with the children. That’s on the dad, she should’ve been admitted that is on the drs. None of this is on her. Postpartum Psychosis is a whole new beast. Way different than postpartum anxiety and postpartum depression.
