Yearning is the most beautiful and painful feeling imo i think it is romantic if you know how to control it witch is very hard and its okay sometimes to let go of it and go full yearning its okay not be okay. People are messy and pain is feeling we express, every emotion is beautiful its proof we aren’t just shells

It's a childhoоd wound. At ѕomе рoint іn yоur childhood you felt emotionallу abandоnеd ѕо whеn you didn’t reсеivе, you try to prоvе yоurѕelf to fеel worthy ѕо уоu ѕubconѕciously сhaѕe that validatiоn from that рerson. You have to heal the root сauѕe of іt intеrnally by rewiring your corе beliеfs. Highlу rеcommend reading Healing Iѕn’t Pretty by Мirа Hartsоn, it's а wonderful book.

People shouldn’t normalise or romanticise yearning I know it sounds beautiful when you hear “I wish someone yearned for me” but trust me that sh!t is so painful. Yearning is not just missing someone or wanting them like many people think. It’s the heartache you feel when you see the person you want but can’t have them. It’s the heavy feeling in your chest, the burning in your stomach and the moments where it feels hard to breathe because you want someone so deeply and they’re not there. It’s wishing you could just sit next to them or just hold their hand. It’s craving their presence, their love, and their closeness while feeling like you have no control over those emotions and trust me those emotions can haunt you down!! People think it’s beautiful to be wanted that much but they forget how painful it is to be the person carrying that longing so guys let’s stop romanticising this!
