It depends whether you’re a Ltd company or a sole trader. If you’re a Ltd company, product samples are generally treated as business assets. If you’re a sole trader, they may be considered a proportionate personal benefit, depending on how they’re used. No matter what you’ll pay tax at some point.

You only pay tax if you use them personally - if they are purely a sample for a video they are a sample for business use. If you use it for personal sayb40 % of the time you apportion 40% to tax
