🧛 Mediterranean Vampire Garlic Flatbread Crispy around the edges, soft in the middle, and loaded with roasted garlic, olive oil, herbs, feta, and mozzarella. This spooky little flatbread has enough garlic to keep the vampires away. 😂🧄 Serves: 4–6 Prep: 10 minutes Bake: 12–15 minutes Ingredients 1 large naan or Mediterranean-style flatbread 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 4 cloves garlic, finely minced ½ teaspoon dried oregano ½ teaspoon dried basil ¼ teaspoon garlic powder ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese ⅓ cup crumbled feta cheese ¼ cup finely chopped roasted red peppers 2 tablespoons sliced black olives 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley Freshly ground black pepper, to taste Pinch of salt Optional: squeeze of fresh lemon juice For the vampire design: Extra mozzarella for the eyes and fangs Black olive slices for the pupils Small pieces of roasted red pepper for a spooky “bloody” accent Directions 1. Heat the oven. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Place the flatbread on a parchment-lined baking sheet. 2. Make the garlic-herb oil. Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, basil, garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Brush the mixture generously over the entire flatbread. 3. Add the toppings. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the flatbread, followed by feta, roasted red peppers, and black olives. 4. Make your vampire. 🧛 Use small pieces of mozzarella to create two eyes near the top of the flatbread. Add black olive slices for pupils. Cut thin triangular pieces of mozzarella and arrange them like two vampire fangs. Place a few tiny strips of roasted red pepper underneath the fangs for a playful Halloween touch. It doesn't need to look perfect—the slightly wonky vampire face is part of the fun! 5. Bake. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the flatbread are golden and crisp. 6. Finish and serve. Sprinkle with fresh parsley. For a little Mediterranean brightness, add a very light squeeze of lemon juice just before serving. 🍋 Cozy Kitchen Tip If you love garlic, roast a whole head of garlic ahead of time and mash several soft roasted cloves into the olive oil. Roasted garlic gives the flatbread a sweeter, mellower flavor than raw garlic. 🫒 Make It a Meal Serve it alongside a Greek salad, tomato-cucumber salad, Mediterranean white bean soup, or a bowl of roasted red pepper hummus. Fun serving idea: Cut the finished flatbread into irregular triangles and call them “Vampire Bites.” 🧛♀️🧄 And yes—there's enough garlic here that Dracula should probably keep his distance. 😂 #everyone #followers #highlights #mediterraneanfood #mediterraneanstyle
