@monstrofarm: This peace lily kept telling me something wasn’t right….No matter how often I watered it, it would droop again a couple of days later. Instead of continuing to fight the situation, I decided to try something different and move her to water. Not only did it solve the problem, but I also ended up with a display that I think looks even better than it did in a pot. This is how I did it: 🪴 Start with a healthy peace lily (Spathiphyllum). Make sure the plant doesn’t have root rot before making the transition. 🪨 Remove the plant from its pot and gently work as much of the potting mix off the root ball as possible. 💦 Rinse away the remaining soil by holding the roots over a bowl or using a gentle stream of water from a hose until they’re clean. 🧿 Fill the bottom half of a vase with your favorite glass beads or pebbles. If you’re using a glass vase, tilt it slightly and let the beads slide down the side to avoid cracking the glass. 🌱 Place the plant on the beads. It should sit deep enough in the vase to stay upright. 💧 Add water until about half of the roots are submerged. RO, rainwater, or well water are great choices. 💡 Place the vase in bright to medium indirect light, either near a window or under grow lights. 🚰 Top off the water when the level drops below the bottom quarter of the roots. If the water becomes cloudy, add a small amount of hydrogen peroxide or perform a water change. 😊 Fertilize with a very dilute liquid fertilizer whenever you top off the water or change it. #TikTokLearningCampaign #LearnonTikTok #EduTok #plants #Houseplants
