If we’re applying the multiverse to this, then God can see every timeline with every potential choice you make splinter off. Take the knife example given here; he can see a timeline where you take it to the kitchen to cut fruits, and he can see a timeline where you take it to the kitchen to cut vegetables. If God doesn’t know whether you’ll use it to cut fruit or veg, and will only know by watching to see what you do in real time, then he’s not all-knowing. But if he already definitively knows, before you’re even given the knife, that you’re going to use it to cut fruit? That would mean that he’s not looking at all the multiversal possibilities; he’s following one specific branch of the timeline. So either the multiversal theory is incorrect in that there’s only one timeline, and thus all of our choices are already predetermined — or God the multiversal theory is correct and there are infinite timelines out there that reflect every choice and happenstance in existence, but God has chosen to abandon every single other timeline, and continues to follow only the branching timelines that he personally likes, which means that God determines which choice we can make lest he abandons our entire reality and discards of us all. If I cut the fruit, existence goes on as normal for a split second before another branch is made somewhere else in the universe. If I cut the vegetables, God abandons the timeline and we either cease to exist without his influence or we have no access to Heaven and all our souls are condemned to Hell because some random person decided to cut vegetables instead of fruit

honestly not a Christian I was giving me own take on the situation, I was just trying to point out how I think it works, i dont go off the Bible cause like you've pointed it out its unrealistic. Was just showing how it could be possible, being all knowing and still having free will if it branches out. Honesty Ive strugglesed with another of the points youve mentioned was just giving my take.

But if you KNOW that someone will choose to harm someone with the knife, then handing it to someone is criminal negligence at best. God is supposed to not just know the options, but which one we will choose. Meaning he made people knowing what they would do and still chose to make them when he didn't have to. The most generous interpretation of god's actions is child endangerment.

I don't know why, but I'm inclined to think that this thought may come from Islam, since I remember that when I was Muslim I learned about a concept called Qadr. Al Qadr It is the fact that God has complete knowledge of all things. What happened, could have happened, will happen, could happen. And the fact that God creates the future because He is the one who controls everything.
