So say I am 55 and above, met my FRS and no intention to sell my property. If I use cash to "pay" for the 100k + accrued interest, that money will still go back to my OA and I still can withdraw it out right ?

no. you are missing another crucial point. instead of govt originally giving you the interest, now you are topping up using your sale profits
it is also not locked in in certain scenarios that you mentioned.

Wait ! The logic is weird. If the money is cpf and who pays my cpf the accrued interest? It’s government/CPF right. So now I took it out, then later I put it back is it the government/cof supposed to return me my accrued interest? 🙄Duhhhhh

really impressed with your way of simplifying this confusing CPF accrued interest concept to many ppl including me, especially when we're constantly misinformed. Great job!! 👍

Hi :
Yeah, profit or lost, you need to pay yourself accrued interests. Hopefully it's a profit 😁

If 55 and above, I’m only at BRS, the CPF + interest from sale of property can take out as cash? Won’t it go into my RA account instead? And if im at BRS only and want to take out cash from my cpf, wont i have to pledge my property?

ok, if I do not want to sell my property after 55 years old, it will still accumulate interest, correct?
