Man walking the tracks was the only way to the next town over in any reasonable time without dying from the tick induced blood loss. You can definitely feel the trains.

I lived next to a cement plant for a summer once and you could feel in your body 500 feet from the tracks the weight of the cars rolling. It would wake me up at 5 am 😂 there’s zero chance ur missing that train when it zips by

I don't understand why everybody thinks railroad trucks are so dangerous like I don't even understand how you could get stuck on one and also most of them are super straight so you can see this train coming from like 5 minutes away And you hear it long before you can see it and you can feel it in the ground you have so much time to get out of the way
