Instead of making the Velaryons black it would have been much better had they just made original show black characters maybe from the Summer Islands. This not only gives you creative freedom but can also explain the culture and life in the Summer Islands. But I guess we can't have good orginal creative characters.

yup, I agree with everything I would also add the costumes. In seasons 6-8 they were horrendous but even before. there was no colour in this world when the books were so colourful! where are the colours of Essos? where are Boltons in pink? House of the dragon isn't much better

I second your point about Rhaena!! they destroyed her character 😭 I can’t believe some fans say they’re giving her a better storyline, but its a stolen storyline from Nettles. The Nettles erasure is one of the worst things this show has done imo, because it led to this version of Rhaena that’s so unrecognizable.
