YES. As a patient, I honestly appreciate it so much more when a doctor says, "I don't know," rather than pretending to have all the answers or sugar-coating things. Hearing "I don't know" has never made me lose trust in a doctor, pretending to know everything has. That honesty is empathy in itself.🌻 The best doctors are humble enough to recognise their limits, but they'll still fight like hell to help their patients, even if that means asking colleagues or referring them to someone who knows more. Asking for help doesn't make you a bad doctor, it makes you a good one🥲❤️thank you for being honest enough to admit that this is something you struggle with. That kind of self-awareness is rare, and it's already a sign that you're becoming the kind of doctor patients will trust. 🥹❤️🩹 Keep choosing humility over pride, because your willingness to learn and ask for help will one day save lives and make your patients feel truly seen.
