The key to making it not hurt at the pump is: don’t go below 1/2 tank. It doesn’t sting as much. Trust me I know

My dad bought a Cessna 182 back in 2004, brand new. Av gas (super high octane aircraft gas) cost about $7 gallon bag then in California. To fly one hour was about $100. I said that’s expensive and he replied “don’t buy a plane if you worry about the cost of gas” —- so dont buy a Porsche if your worried about gas, tires, brakes etc

Great car! Congratulations! But if you have sticker shock from a fill up… You are in for some big-time surprises on the service intervals. I’ve owned German cars for the past 30 years…and wouldn’t have anything else, but they do have a lot of what I call “personality” when it comes to upkeep.
