I’m not sure why, but using anything but watercolors- like paint pens, ink pen, colored pencils all feel like it’s cheating to my brain. It literally makes no sense, because I see your paintings and I love them, but if I go to do it, I use any other medium and I think mine is TRASH. Thank you for reading my insanity. 😂

Over the weekend I got to go to a workshop all about making watercolor paint from plants so I used my new paints to do this one (purple hollyhock, brown coreopsis, yellow weld). Again…I need to learn patience. My pigma pen ran on the yellow because it wasn’t quite dry, so I leaned into it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
