I feel like as a adult we need to normalize showing these uncomfortable/ “ negative “emotions in front of kids not only to show them. It is OK to be angry. It is OK to cry, but at the same time we need to show them the healthy way of coping with said emotion because how else our children going to learn if they don’t see the adults around them being the example they’re not going to know that it’s OK to be angry. They’re not going to know that it’s OK to be this or that at the adults around them never showed those emotions.

but imagine u teach ur kids bring sad is ok and to be kind . I never learned how to hug ppl right and I'm super awkward I hide my tears bc I got shamed for them. if I ever have kids I will show them my tears, my smile my anger and everything they feel too hoping it will make them into caring ppl
