When I was in hospital for a miscarriage last year my partner knew I wouldn’t want a g string, but couldn’t find my ‘normal’ undies, and so he packed me some of his. It is still one of the funniest memories in a very sad day having to take my trousers down and the nurses and I laughing through tears. It was a hero move because the alternative of a g string would have been a nightmare.
