I had to do that to get into that relationship. God said no. I started bargaining. The cost was high. The difference is. I know when I am wrong. And have no problem admitting it. Wanting got me in something very toxic. And it revealed bad in my character that without Jesus I'd definitely sweep under the rug. Paul said forgetting things behind and looking forward. I dig. Still hurts my heart. But more so my ego and pride. Glory Lord Jesus.

I'm struggling.. I left alleady, but the trauma bonds got me in a choke hold.. he came to my parents house and told them everything I have ever said about them and what I did in the relationship.. how crazy I am , unstable..

This right here. 19 years together and 11 married and 2 boya. I have left twice and quilted myself to come back. He thinks providing a paycheck is enough. I make excuses when he doesn't go places with us and I hide his drinking from the kids. Mentally I tell myself this is okay when deep down it's not.
