this is a very poor test of oil and oil and additives. It doesnt take into account heat and cold cycles, oxygen and gas contamination or carbon degradation.

it doesn't prove anything Engine oil must maintain its performance during other temperatures and even cold weather. If your oil were to evaporate or wear out, you should use it in a real engine and let it run at 5000 rpm for 24 hours and see how it goes

Those tests are meaningless when doing it with brand new additive. Project farm proves that most friction modifiers actually cause more wear after going through a heat cycle because they instantly degrade and lose all benefit

yeah until it reaches 90°C then it thins out like water. you cant test oil at room temp. when your car is cold, yeah then this test is valid, but your car is only cold for a few minutes, then the real durability comes into play
