The only part I do not get is an journaling “eco system”. One journal can hold your eco system. Why do you need 1 for daily thoughts, 1 for grocery lists, 1 for future ideas, 1 for whatever.. etc? I see it as performative journaling. I have this question and I don’t mean to be mean. I just genuinely do not get it. I guess the proper question is, how do you keep up with all of them?

It’s wild to me that people feel they need to comment on something that clearly isn’t for them in the first place. If you don’t have a bunch of whimsical little journals that bring you joy and give you a place to jot down your thoughts, okay. But why be rude about it? If it’s not for you, it’s not for you. Hi! I commented a little while ago, asking about digital journalling. What you said really stayed with me. The kindness of what you said, yes, but also how physically doing this is much more human. PR and LC are incredibly expensive, so I reached out to a local small stationary business and a leatherworker here, and she’s making a custom journal cover for me and a whole bunch of notebooks. They’re supposed to be delivered today, and I just wanted to thank you for helping me get here ❤️❤️

I find creative writing so integral as a PhD student. It strengthens my academic writing, and I need a foil to more structured research and writing. It makes so much sense to me to have this in your toolkit as a fellow graduate student.

Gosh I am so sorry You have to defend yourself.. That comment is just.. I am an adult and I do have about 20 unfiniahed sketchbooks. Expensive Ones and Cheap ones. It’s a Place to Experiment for me, being an illustrator. As You Said, They House our creativity, your Personality! And I do like to scroll through my Books.
