Took me until I was 20 yrs old to realize that “I am only attracted to women and would never date a man and I am not attracted to men sexually or romantically and can only imagine myself being with a woman” does not mean I am bisexual and that should really tell you how deeply ingrained male centeredness is in our society.

Ok so lowkey there’s something that I discovered called gynosexual which is being attracted to femininity and I think that’s where I land but it’s lowkey just easier to say I’m bi and then have my own preferences (which is predominantly women because I think I just enjoyed men’s attention rather than actually liking them)

This is something im struggling with because I dont feel like I fit the typical definition. Because I use to be sexually interested in men but through trauma ive found that my sexual interest in men is all but washed up and the same traumas have also led me to not really feeling interested in dating men seriously again. I cant see a forever with a man for me. I think they can be cool, I like male validation sometimes, but I just dont want men like that. But women, I could see a life built with a beautiful woman but not right now. Maybe im just burnt out on relationships and having to raise a grown child because his parents failed him.
