Instead of controlling a single character, you guide two penguins Gurin and Malon at the same time. When you move one penguin, the other moves in the opposite (mirror) direction. This creates a fun but challenging experience, as you must think carefully about every move. Your main goal in each stage is to guide both penguins from the bottom of the screen to a caged heart at the top and make them arrive at exactly the same moment. The gameplay is easy to learn but requires good timing and coordination. You choose one penguin to control directly, while the other follows mirrored movements. Along the way, you must avoid spiders, webs, and fire. Spiders and webs can be destroyed using a short range ray that both penguins shoot at the same time, but fire cannot be destroyed and must be avoided unless you find a special item. If one penguin gets trapped in a web, the other must rescue it. You can only complete a level if both penguins reach the heart together, so planning your path is very important. As you progress, the game introduces new elements like birds that can swap the penguins’ positions and bonus stages that appear every few levels. An interesting and slightly funny detail in the game is the appearance of a baby penguin. If Gurin and Malon cross paths several times while moving through the stage, there is a chance that a small child penguin will appear. This baby penguin moves randomly around the map and can actually be helpful if it touches a spider or fire, it removes the danger instantly.
