I do think he will get a nomination and I think he was great however I don’t think it was very Boom in your face like the others are so I don’t think it will win. Especially not against Hans this year.

Give it a rest. He will not go down as the greatest film composer of all time. People only say that if they have limited knowledge of the history of film music. This score, for all of its research and innovation, turned into yet another generic, soulless, soundscape slog for an “epic” film with no structure, or form. Different DOES NOT equal good. If you are talking greatest of all time, no one, I mean no one beats Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Miklos Rozsa, Alfred Newman, Bernard Herrmann, Ennio Morricone, John Williams, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith or Hans Zimmer. Heck, Goronsson isn’t even the best composer working today… that title goes to John Powell.
