No I am sorry but agree with the police on this. There are so many deaths and injuries here in our cities for e-bikes, e-scooters and no regulations, lots of people having accidents and dying and lots of young kids. So I understand why he is upset. Everyday on the news there is a death with one of these. Now our law enforcement is now cutting down and enforcing rules and regulation.
