@sunbeamneedleworks: Every time I come here I WONDER😭😭😭I know they have a pretty large anime con here (colossalcon) but why are there no furry cons??... It looks like they've been renovating their convention center since 2023! it looks amazing. The whole place is also very big and spacious for a furry con. It would be so fun to swim and play mermaids and meet furrys at a waterpark. I know fwa had a pool poop incident.. is that why? Are they scared of furrys/the cleanup that might come with having a big furry convention? or Do they want too much money? 😮😮 I NEEED to knowwww. #furryconvention #furryfandom #furrycon

Aquatifur was held at the Kalahari one year! It's now moved to the Chula Vista. I just dont think the attendance numbers match the price structure of the Kalahari.

There are still plenty of furries that show up at Colossalcon. Though it would be nice to see one at the waterpark.

as someone who went to colossalcon several times. the venue becomes extremely overcrowded. to the point where it's a safety hazard. the rooms are too small. and everyone is on top of each other in the water park. also they overuse the chemicals in the pool so bad that it ruins your bathing suit. i could go on.

Japanese Gyoza (Pan-Fried Dumplings) Japanese gyoza are crispy on the bottom, tender on top, and filled with a juicy, savory mixture. They are pan-fried first, then gently steamed, creating the perfect contrast of textures. A classic Japanese comfort food that’s easy to make at home. Ingredients (Makes 24–30 dumplings) Filling •	250 g ground pork or chicken •	1 cup napa cabbage, finely chopped •	2 green onions, finely chopped •	2 cloves garlic, minced •	1 tsp fresh ginger, grated •	1 Tbsp soy sauce •	1 tsp sesame oil •	1/2 tsp salt •	1/2 tsp black pepper For Assembly •	24–30 gyoza wrappers •	Water (for sealing) For Cooking •	1–2 Tbsp neutral oil •	1/4 cup water (for steaming) Instructions 1.	In a bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. 2.	Place one gyoza wrapper in your hand. Add about 1 teaspoon of filling to the center. 3.	Dip your finger in water and moisten the edge of the wrapper. Fold in half and pleat the edges to seal tightly. Repeat with remaining wrappers. 4.	Heat oil in a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Arrange the gyoza in a single layer, flat side down. 5.	Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown. 6.	Carefully add the water to the pan and immediately cover with a lid. Steam for 4–5 minutes, until the filling is cooked through and the water evaporates. 7.	Remove the lid and cook for another 1–2 minutes to re-crisp the bottoms. Simple Dipping Sauce •	2 Tbsp soy sauce •	1 Tbsp rice vinegar •	1 tsp sesame oil •	Chili oil or chili flakes (optional) Tips •	Do not overfill the wrappers to prevent tearing. •	Napa cabbage can be lightly salted and squeezed to remove excess moisture for a juicier filling. •	Gyoza are best served hot, straight from the pan. #gyoza #japanese #cusine #mspinaq
