@timeoutwithjosh: Just some points of view on dating and relationships from one guy. Remember this is just one guys perspective and I have done many other videos about dating and relationships and I’m trying to constantly put out new ones. These are to provoke thought, conversations, and to help. #dating #datingadvice #single #relationships #blueeyes
Asking questions and communication is so important in a relationship and not accusing pointing saying stuff, listening really really listening to your partner!!!!

I will say this doesn’t seem like the norm more like the exception. Woman will still try to repair a relationship even when she doesn’t want to be in it anymore. Unfortunately, it is the way we are wired.

I don’t agree. I spent years with a man trying to explain my feelings and make things work. What I will say is now I’ve got boundaries and I will let them be known up front and if you can’t respect them then I’m gone quick

Flip the scenario! I begged for my husband's love and attention. He gave it to someone else. He left when I confronted him, yet he made me the villain. Even to this day, I lower myself to accept bare minimum and total disrespect. It may have been the woman in your story, but not every story! Men need to communicate as well. Love the one you're with so they don't lose themselves and allow others to come in.. sorry this happened to you and myself.. God bless

I agree. A man should be able to voice what’s going on with them. And we should listen, then talk about ways to help and fix things. If we’re not in it together what’s the point

It didn’t work that way for me. I spent years in therapy. Thousands on medicine to “help” me. Apologized for looking at him the wrong way, for walking into a room and distracting him while he was gaming, for not being strong enough. Years cleaning up his messes. Telling him what I needed to feel happy, safe, and secure. In the end, he left. His addiction (not drugs or alcohol) was more important than myself or his kids.

Not true at all! I spent the last 7 years of my marriage hoping and praying he would go back to being the man I married. I stayed even after I completely lost myself, I stayed as I watched him spiral and carried him in his darkest days. I stayed even when I had to carry him and myself after I got cancer, I stayed even when he didnt even hold my hand on my darkest day. I stayed and faught like hell even when my confidence went in ruins because he barely looked at me. It finally ended mutually and I can finally breath.

Not in my case. I don't pick fights, but I promise you this: I don't take them either. He would get mad at work and take it out on me, and if I didn't obey, he would take it out on his child.

Thats not true. In most cases the woman has told the man many times what is wrong and how they feel about it. In some cases, the man ghosts the woman or ends the relationship one way or another.

I spent years trying to explain to my ex ways we could work on our relationship. Date nights. Talking about things other than bills. Nights out for both of us with friends with and without us being together. He never took the time to understand that. Women check out emotionally before it gets to the break up point.

Yeah, I do and that’s total BS. You hold your ground you keep your expectations the way you want them she likes you and she cares about you. She’ll fall in line because you’re worth it at least I think so.

I understand his point—men can spend years struggling and feel like no one gets it. But sometimes when a woman is finally “done,” she’s been struggling for years too. Maybe the real problem is that we don’t hear each other until one person has nothing left to say

For me, it's usually the other way around. The first time I make a mistake, or upset them, it's over. I'm not worth fighting for. The only relationships I've had that have lasted a while were with narcissist, and I was exactly where they wanted me to be. Vulnerable, apologetic, "let me fix it"mentality.
Ive been through intensive therapy after my last ex and have finally been able to see the pattern.
