You do not IMAX is a con - our binocular vision prefers and sees wider images with greater definition than taller images - that’s why cinema scope was invented. IMAX for films is the equivalent of listening to music through a large mono guitar amp with you ear a few inches from the speaker rather than listening in stereo.

It’s still a very enjoyable film at a normal cinema. Nolan has made sure we can still see the movie at a normal aspect ratio.

It's not gatekeeping, 70mm imax is a privilege, the film will be as good in normal cinemas. That extra footage is EXTRA

I watched at a regular cinema, and taught it was fine. I still think its a bit weird to have to watch it in imax to get the full screen or whatever, but then again its not a big deal to me
