@minaandthegarden: Pruning yellowing leaves helps tomato plants by 🍅Redirecting Plant Energy: Once a leaf turns yellow, it is no longer photosynthesizing effectively. The plant wastes resources trying to maintain this dying tissue; so pruning it forces the plant to redirect energy toward new growth and fruit production. 🍅Disease Prevention: Old, yellowing, or dead lower leaves are highly susceptible to fungal infections blight. 🍅Improved Airflow: Trimming the lower canopy opens up space, allowing air to circulate and the soil to dry out. I like to do this early in the morning to minimize plant stress. What's one of your tomato care tips. Share in the comments. #growingfood #tomatoes #planttips #creatorsearchinsights
