@gzreel: Every mile you have ever driven was powered by fire you never saw. Combustion happens sealed inside a metal block, which is why this cutaway is so rare. The fuel injector meters the exact amount of gasoline into the cylinder, where it mixes with air. The piston rises and compresses that mixture, spiking the pressure and temperature. Then the spark plug fires tens of thousands of volts, igniting the charge and creating the expansion that slams the piston back down. The crankshaft converts that violence into smooth rotation. At 6,000 rpm, each cylinder repeats this entire sequence around 3,000 times every minute, because a four-stroke engine fires once every two revolutions. Nikolaus Otto built the first working version of this cycle in 1876: intake, compression, ignition, power. The sequence has never changed. 150 years of controlled fire, sealed inside a block of metal. Love Technology?
