to clarify because of some comments, paintings at the start are orientalist and are only for aesthetics. I got accused of western fetishism because of this, but it doesnt ruin the message of the video. Traditional Islam with centuries of diverse scholarship, spiritual tradition and legal schools was disrupted by modern literalist ideological movements. Many islamic scholars address the same argument. Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Sheikh-Al Bouti, Ayatollah Montazeri, and many more. Just to prove im not doing this from a purely western aesthetic motivation but from reading works or parts of works from actual muslim scholars
