I had a surgery in 2023 and in 2025, hysterectomy and then Gallbladder. both of them, I came home to rest and was fully expected to cook dinner that night. I did....i needed to eat and so did my child. No one asked me how i was doing....helped me in and out of the shower, nothing. I can't remember a time in my life where anyone took care of me since i was a teenager, tbh. and i'm 45 now. I can relate to this for sure.

I had back surgery, couldn't walk for almost 3 to 4 months. No one even called to check on me. My brother would bring me food sometimes and my ex girlfriend would bring me food. My parents, sisters, etc didn't even reach out. I was sleeping on the floor wrapped in a blanket unable to dress myself. So much pain couldn't sleep for days at a time just to shift in sleep and be woken up. Remember crawling to the shower because I couldn't stand up, just to use the bathroom. Absolutely lowest point of my life.
