@chronoarchivesofficial: This is not a decorative wall and it is not a complete shell. The famous *Parapuzosia seppenradensis* fossil from Seppenrade, Germany, measures about 1.74 metres across. It belonged to the largest ammonite species known and lived roughly 80 million years ago, when the region was covered by sea. Part of its outer living chamber is missing. Even in its surviving form, the shell stands taller than many of the people looking at it.
