The English only really misbehave in Portugal during the summer, and it’s usually just young people on holiday in July and August. They get drunk, cause a bit of trouble here and there, but nothing too serious. You just need a bit of policing to stop them from fighting each other. We don’t judge all English people because of a handful of them. The rest of the year, you barely even notice they’re here. They go sightseeing, enjoy themselves, get on with their lives, and don’t bother anyone.
