crocodile has basically no defense against gaara can just seal him i know your a one piece fan but seriously think Crocodile’s sand becomes solid when it gets wet. Gaara’s sand is constantly infused with his chakra, which grants it physical properties far beyond ordinary, dry sand. When Gaara’s sand hits Crocodile, it isn't just "sand hitting sand"—it is high-pressure, chakra-hardened material. If the sand is wet, it hardens; if it's dry, Gaara’s crushing force still applies. Gaara doesn't just "touch" him; he exerts immense pressure that can turn his sand body into dust or trap him entirely. and being a logia doesn't mean u are immune to sealing

When it comes to this fight, whoever has the greater feats on controlling sand wins. Gaara can also seal sand so idk what crocodile has over gaara tbh

Alright I see this debate a lot and I kinda wanna give my two cents. Crocodile wins this battle and it’s not much of a discussion. Gaara needs Chakra to control his sand, something that is consumed by anything superhuman that’s performed by him while a logia does not have this problem being able to create, control, and become sand at will and passively. (Don’t try and use the smoker and Luffy gag to say it isn’t passive, we all know that’s a joke.) on top of that Crocodile has shown far greater ability with his sand powers, able to absorb an entire continents worth of moisture on alabasta causing a severe drought, what this also means is that any simple grab he can absorb all the moisture from Gaara’s body and just win at any point he likes. Another common argument is that Gaara can control the same sand that Crocodile is made from if he infuses his chakra into it, which I can absolutely see being possible but what next after that? You pull his body that’s entirely made of sand apart? He’s a logia so that’s not doing literally anything, chakra isn’t haki and as a result wouldn’t negate his devil fruits intangibility. crocodile’s body can also reform from any sand nearby potentially even the sand in gaara’s gourd and just stab him in the back without him noticing. Next is sealing jutsu, which once again, you’re trying to counter a guy made of sand.. with sand, sand isn’t going to contain a guy made of sand, however I genuinely can believe this to be his only win con even if I don’t fully believe crocodile would get stopped by a sand coffin. The only other thing I can think of is the fact that Gaara has as far as I’m aware zero immunity to the poison in crocodiles hook so if things SOMEHOW get dicey that poison would do a number on Gaara.

Gaara will simply infuse his chakra into Crocodile as sand then seal him away knowing that Gaara’s sand is much faster and stronger its not a close fight
