@darrenfrancisfinance: 7/19: The US Housing Market is rapidly falling apart as over 227,000 properties filed for foreclosure in just the first half of this year… at the same time, sellers out number buyers in the largest gap ever recorded, AND housing is at the most unaffordable level in history. Yet most in the housing market still can’t admit this is a bubble that is collapsing. #housingmarket #realestate #economicnews #news #economy
Me waiting for this collapse so I can finally purchase!!!

The hyperinflation from the war? Inflation? Yes. HYPERINFLATION? This is nowhere NEAR hyperinflation.

I am a mortgage loan processor. And I have been for 15 years. And I predicted this a year and a half ago. I don’t have near the amount of business that I should have this time of year. Summer is high volume month and I have a quarter of the volume that I had just two and three years ago. It’s definitely going down and I’m really worried because I own my own house and I have no idea how I’m gonna pay my own mortgage.

GOOD! And I say this as a homeowner. The market needs a HUGE correction. Wages haven't kept up with costs for decades. This is the only foreseeable outcome.

Yes this is a good thing for Americans looking to enter the market, but it’s also going to trigger PE to sweep up for closing homes

Didn’t they just pass a law where Investment companies can’t buy more than 350 residential properties? That’s a good thing and the housing market has been overinflated because of this.

People can’t afford the cost of living. This administration has said they don’t care, verbatim. It’s also going to get worse.

I am so tired of seeing these 2 bed, 1 bath, no covered parking, no shade tree, less than a third of an acre properties that need a shitload of work, being listed at $200k.

Prior to COVID, average car payment was $300-$500, now $700-$1200+. Average mortgage was $2500-$3500, now $4000 - $6000+. In Northern NJ the average home is $800K and it no longer excludes less desirable neighborhoods. For a multi family, your mortgage is $6000-$10000+. Thats no investment, it’s unsustainable debt.
