Oppression, for believers, affects the soul. However, believers use deliverance as an excuse not to deal with their flesh. Ultimately, we should be asking the Holy Spirit and not just assume.

Soul needs strongholds torn down. Holy Spirit delivers then restores. The house is filled with the Holy Ghost and he begins inhabiting the household. For the soul that looks like mentalities, principles, ideologies, theologies that have to go away to learn anew what God intends for us to think and believe.

The only way that I think my "works" are "good" is because I generally like helping people with what I do and many of those people are appreciative. And I'm trying to be more conscious of letting people know I appreciate what they do for me. It's because those things are exchanges of caring.
