I ended up on a final warning from my employer. I have retired early because I couldn't cope with the lack of understanding of how the symptoms affected me.

I have just had an absence from work with menopause related symptoms which was going to put me on a disciplinary. After asking if I wouls need a union rep, they changed it,has an occ health appointment. They have now adjusted my breaks and absence triggers. They are also reviewing their policy when it comes to menopause

My employer (with an almost entirely female workforce) refused to categorise my menopause sickness absence separately from regular sick. Next time I will challenge this

I had some time off for mental health. I have ASD, ADHD, fibromyalgia and perimenopause. I think they put it down as sick leave because if I have any more time off sick they are putting in to the FARM system (not sure what it stands for).
