@vibe_samurai: At 27, I thought a sandwich was too small to contain the meaning of life. At 51, I’m beginning to understand that nothing is small when you’re fully there. The rainy morning. The cheap croissant. Baseball on the radio while the fireflies come out. These aren’t interruptions between the important moments. They are the important moments. What ordinary moment would you choose to relive forever? For deeper reflections, subscribe to my Substack. If you’re ready to see what’s keeping your life from moving, book a Breakthrough Call. You know, I’ve seen the Letterman interview with Warren Zevon, and felt a deep awe for the man at the time, but you have placed these pieces in a way that catches the light in in a new way. I am moved.

The feeling of holding my first grandchild. It was a different kind of love. I am struggling here to describe this.

When I was a child and my energy soul leave my body easily and I was able to be wherever I wanted. Death doesn’t exist, only the physical, we are energy

I have found with age and with an increasing sense of impending mortality that as you get older life's experiences tend to become more spiritual in aspect, even in retrospect...

Warren Zevon wrote a song about dying as well. It’s called Keep Me in Your Heart for Awhile. I listen to that when I think about my brother. He died young at 46. I always silently tell my brother I’ll always keep him in my heart when I hear that song.

Reminds me of the play Our Town. Everyone in a rush, never appreciating the everyday moments and the people within it.

I remember that show as I’m 53 and a Letterman fan. I agree due to facing brain surgery and not knowing what was going to happen to my body. I recovered and wanted to drive, speak well, and my personality not to change. It was a factor. This touch home. It has been just over two years now and I’m good.

Christiano Ronaldo was 12 and away from home lives with his sport mates , one night they were hungry and shops closed, one girl in burger restaurant felt sorry for him and his friends opened the restaurant door and fed them burger sandwiches , to this day Ronaldo remembers that burger sandwich and the lady that gave it to him.
