if doesn't taste "damo" or less bitter and no astrigency at all, then they're using a culinary grade type of matcha powder which is less expensive and the tastes is really far from the ceremonial premium grade one. You get what you pay for, if the price ranges 100 pesos below for a matcha then don't expect it's the "matcha matcha quality" you're looking for.
