the motif is actually not the same. Rivera-Herrans’ “just a man” motif is A3-F4-E4-D4 (So-Me-Re-Do in solfège), while Göransson’s motif is Te-Me-Re-Do. you could argue there are similarities, but Me-Re-Do is an extremely common line in songwriting. any similarities are coincidental

love jorge and what he’s done and currently doing but it’s a motif it’s not a big deal people do that all the time and no credit is needed i’m sure ludwig new of epic and took inspiration but credit is not needed like i said because artist and musicians do it all the time

So, Jorge DID use the lyre (through a computer program) in his musical. Ludwig with the help of historians and other experts, recreated that instrument alongside others for the odyssey movie. Given that those instruments are ANCIENT, the notes available to be made on said instrument are limited. No one is copying anyone. They are artists using an instrument with limited capability. It’s literally just a few notes.
