There’s a really interesting study that presents a theory called “the connectivome theory” which basically suggests that autism is linked to connective tissue disorders and actually a whole body disorder rather than just neurodevelopmental. The statistics show CTDs are closely linked with autism (although I have no idea where they found that statistic specifically about keds)

I think that’s closer to the actual statistic (albeit potentially underestimated) on autistic individuals having Ehlers-danlos syndromes/hypermobility spectrum disorders as a whole, NOT kEDS 😭
