I'M ABOUT TO SEND YOU SPIRALING. I need to bring us back to Season 2 Finale...Louis follows the fledgling, catching rats. He walks in, Lestat is there playing his wooden piano. The new fledgling is told to leave. Lestat offers Louis a rat. A RAT. Lestat thought feeding on rats was vile and it infuriated him that Louis did it. HE WAS FEEDING ON RATS BC HE WANTED TO REMEMBER AND BE CLOSE TO LOUIS. He waited all those years for Louis to figure it all out and come find him so he stayed in a derelict home that was theirs and ate the only thing Louis would eat. FOR 77 YRS. Just there, waiting for his great love to be able to find him again. I. AM. UNWELL.
