it's because lapiz suffered worse just how she mentioned on the scene, she had to stay locked on a piece of metal for 6000 years,got shattered (but repaired by Steven) ,forcefully fused with Jasper to keep her contained, practically suffered everything bad that could ever happen to her, she suffered so much that she adapted to the sadness making her practically immune to blue diamonds effect that is making every GEM (trying not to include brown diamond aka Connie) feel a uncontrollable sadness

Yellow zircon also resisted blue diamond's powers, zircon is a lawyer who oversaw thousands of years of homeworld trials. Lapis was trapped in a mirror inside of pearl for 5000 years then was trapped as malachite for multiple months. Lapis is basically emotionally numb so blue diamond's emotion projection doesn't really work on them

Blue Diamond makes them feel how she feels, grieving Pink and all. Lapis was trapped in a mirror for 6000 years, plus the months where she was fused with Jasper. So as she said “I have felt worse” and Blue’s pain is something she’s becoming numb to.
