That’s ridiculous. I think older women tend to prefer shorter hair for mobility reasons, and the energy or time for upkeep. Long hair doesn’t age you.

The fact that it’s so common place to cut your hair as you get older makes it that short hair would actually be aging, not maintaining your length. That’s why the Golden Girls looked so old even though they were 40-50s. Then short ass roller sets.

My life got a lot better when I realized that there are no actual style rules. Wear the makeup or don’t. Wear white after Labor Day. Style your hair or wear it natural. Wear whatever colors and patterns that you want. It’s all subjective.

I think that’s dumb. The coolest lady I’ve ever seen was like 65 with grey hair to her knees, big red boots and a miniskirt and that was 20 years ago almost. I can’t wait to be like that.
