Glad my Tesla has a carwash mode. It disables the charge port door, automatic wipers and several other things. Upon my research to see if Audi has this too, from the looks they don’t, I have read folks had purchased a faraday pouch. Just places your keys in that, then in your pocket. The faraday pouch doesn’t allow the signal to get through. A lot of people buy them for security at home. Too many losers uses a device that boosts the signal from your house. Gains access to the car and starts it and drives away. All from the keys sitting on your table.

The foot sensor to open the trunk is extremely sensitive and works too well so this is the result when you stand behind the car while soapy water runs down the sensor. It does not do this in the rain so don’t be worried

Turn off the kick to open feature in the MMI before each wash. My A5 did the same thing and this fixed it.

Put the keys in the center console. You are triggering the foot activated trunk release with the water. I did this for over a year, before realizing

you either have the proximity sensor or the one where you kick your foot under the bumper and opens your trunk "hands free" my Blazer would shine a light there and as the water runs off the bumper it would open the trunk.

You have to disable to trunk open on unlock or disable the truck when you go to wash your car… mine doesn’t do this but whenever I swip over my door with the hose it locks my doors and folds my mirrors till I disabled the mirror fold

This happened to me this weekend when I took my husband's RS3 to the car wash. I could not figure out what the heck. I told my husband about it and he said to take the key out of my pocket. I was losing my mind. lol
