That’s just one of the downsides to pretty privilege. You’ll have a hard time finding people who just genuinely care about you in a platonic way, and the reality is, it’s rare for the opposite gender to have platonic relationships, most people have a hidden agenda. So it’s even worse when you’re attractive because people don’t like being “just friends” with someone they’re attracted to. Most play the “long game” even if they’re unwilling to admit it.
