Trump used bankruptcy laws to his advantage. Truth be told Trump if your like him or not was the heaviest investor in the AC casino idea. Mercedes Griffen was another. New Jersey as a state is to blame for the rediculous mandates on casinos verse room ratio. If you notice AC doesn’t have small casinos without hotel rooms. It’s really hurt AC on growth. Additionally the governor at the time back in the 90s allowed the Sports Betting grandfather rule expire. I think it was Gov Jim Florio who didn’t get legislation passed dropping the ball.
